Track Your Pets and Valuables with Galaxy SmartTag 2 for $16

January 27, 2026

Tired of losing your wallet or keys? Samsung’s rugged Galaxy SmartTag 2 is now 43% off, bringing the price down to just $16. With two year battery life and precise UWB tracking, it is the perfect companion for your valuables.

Smart GPS Bluetooth trackers are small but effective tracking devices for keeping tabs on your belongings and pets. For Samsung users, the Galaxy SmartTag 2 is the premier option. Right now, it is on sale at Amazon, with the single pack going for $16, which is a 43% discount from the usual $29.

If you have multiple items to secure, the 4 pack is also on sale at the retailer. For $61, you get four pieces, making the individual cost roughly $15. This is highly comparable to buying the single pack on sale.

Why Do You Need to Track with the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2?

Samsung introduced the Galaxy SmartTag 2 (review) as a complete overhaul of the original SmartTag. In terms of design, it features an oblong shape with a significantly larger keyhole ring. It is also sleeker than before, providing improved portability so you can easily insert it into small pockets or attach it discreetly to your items.

It is more rugged as well, featuring an IP67 dust and water resistance rating. This provides protection from small particles and accidental water splashes. The device also integrates a button for actions or shortcuts that you can customize through the SmartThings Find app.

The Galaxy SmartTag 2 natively supports UWB or Ultra Wideband connectivity. This enables precise tracking down to the centimeter level. Additionally, you can use AR finding with guided navigation. Alternatively, you can use your phone to ring the device during nearby searches. There is also a useful Lost Mode that allows others to scan the tag and contact you if found.

Even better, the Galaxy SmartTag 2 features an impressive battery life. In normal mode, it lasts up to 500 days before you need to replace the CR2032 cell. You can extend this to 700 days, or almost two years, by using power saver mode.

As usual, the only downside is that it exclusively works with Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets. However, if you are already part of the ecosystem, it is a highly recommended accessory.
