Samsung’s newest budget tablet just hit its lowest price ever, making it the perfect time to upgrade. With 7 years of guaranteed updates and a snappier processor, the Galaxy Tab A11+ is a steal at $209.
Ahead of Amazon’s big spring sale, we’re already seeing exciting deals on some of our favorite tablets. One standout is Samsung’s new Galaxy Tab A11+. It’s now back to its record-low price of $209 at Amazon, down $40 (16%).
This matches the price we saw last month and applies to the Gray base model with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM. The Silver variant with 256GB storage is similarly reduced to $269 from $309.
Who is the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ for?
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A11+ is a thoughtful upgrade over the A9+, especially at the current price. It’s aimed at folks like students or grandparents who want a tablet mainly for media consumption, but it’s also capable enough for tossing documents around on the go.
The budget Galaxy tablet has a slim and lightweight build for improved portability. In fact, it’s lighter than most 11-inch tablets, making it easy to handle one-handed while browsing. Its display is a TFT LCD with a modest 90Hz refresh rate and solid brightness, which is more than enough for binge-watching your favorite TV shows. Plus, the quad stereo speakers are loud and deliver crisp audio with Dolby Atmos support.

A major gripe is that it doesn’t natively support an active stylus or S Pen, so you’ll need to opt for a third-party capacitive pen if you want to draw or take notes. There’s an 8MP main camera for snapping photos, scanning documents, or bills, and the 5MP front-facing camera captures 1080p video for video calls.
Internally, the Galaxy Tab A11+ is powered by a mid-range MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. It delivers a sizeable performance enhancement in both CPU and GPU compared to its predecessor. The budget Galaxy Tab feels more responsive and snappier when multitasking, switching apps, or playing light games. For better future-proofing, Samsung pledges up to 7 years of software updates, in line with its flagship tablets.
The 7,040mAh battery capacity is retained, but efficiency is noticeably better thanks to the newer chipset. This stretches battery life during video browsing and playback. Charging is also quicker with 25W support. The tablet fully charges in about 2 hours or less, a big improvement over the previous model.
