OnePlus Watch 3 with Wear OS 5 and 5 day battery now available for $329 | Technology News

October 21, 2025

OnePlus today launched the OnePlus Watch 3, its newest smartwatch with a bigger battery and a new rotating crown that can scroll. The OnePlus Watch 3 boasts a 1.5-inch OLED screen with a peak brightness of 2,200 nits, which means you will be able to easily see the watchface on a bright day or under direct sunlight. Powered by the Snapdragon W5 chipset, the new smartwatch runs on Wear OS 5 out of the box.

It comes with OnePlus 60S health check in features that can help keep tabs on various metrics like Vascular Health, sleep quality score, wrist temperature, heart rate, SpO level. The OnePlus Watch 3 connects to phones via OHealth application and packs a massive 631mAh battery which the company claims lets the watch last up to 5 days on a single charge with the always-on display turned off.

In case you are wondering, the new watch will give you around 3 days of battery with always-on enabled and can last up to 16 days on power saving mode.

Like most premium smartwatches, the OnePlus 3 gets IP68 and MIL-STD-810H certification and packs various sensors. While the design largely remains unchanged, the new smartwatch comes with a slightly smaller looking bezel, stainless steel case and a titanium physical bezel.

Similar to its predecessor, the OnePlus Watch 3 runs a custom RTOS that consumes minimal power and handles things like notifications and watch faces alongside Wear OS, which offers app support and other features. The OnePlus Watch 3’s rotating crown now lets users scroll through the menu. The company says it has also worked on improving the overall accuracy, especially when it comes to sleep.

It is only available in 47mm variant and can be currently pre-ordered for $329, which roughly translates to Rs 28,600. It is soon expected to come to the Indian market at a similar price point, but OnePlus is yet to official confirm anything.
