Ebix Group Names Arun Batra as New Managing Director of Ebix Travels, ETTravelWorld
Ebix Group has announced the appointment of Arun Batra as Managing Director of Ebix Travels, reinforcing leadership strength across its travel and mobility verticals. The appointment reflects the Group’s strategic focus on growth, operational integration and enhanced governance within its expanding travel ecosystem.
In his new role, Batra will oversee Ebix’s travel and mobility businesses across both domestic and international markets. His responsibilities include driving overall business performance, strengthening cross-vertical collaboration, and refining customer offerings through improved execution and partnership development.
Batra brings more than 30 years of experience across fintech, telecommunications, retail, media and service industries. He has held senior leadership roles at HCL, Vodafone, Brightstar Corporation (USA), Reliance Infocomm, Zee Networks and Matrix Cellular, where he was instrumental in scaling businesses, developing distribution networks and managing complex operations.
