Google’s Upgraded Pixel Buds Pro 2 Hits Their Best Price (28% Off)

January 7, 2026

Missed the Black Friday deals? Amazon has brought back the best price yet on the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2. Currently 28% off, these compact earbuds feature the powerful chip and elite noise canceling. Grab this New Year deal before it ends.

Google is currently offering significant discounts on several popular tech products. This includes the latest Pixel Buds Pro 2, which have returned to their near-record-low price of $165, down from the regular $229 on Amazon.

This 28% discount specifically applies to the Hazel colorway. However, you can also find other color options at a competitive price; for instance, the Peony and Porcelain models are currently available for $179, which is $50 off the standard retail price.

Why Buy The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2?

For Android users—especially those already within the Pixel ecosystem—the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are among the best wireless earbuds available today. While they launched at a higher price point than the original model, current sales significantly lower the barrier for fans looking to upgrade.

Introduced in late 2024, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 (review) brought several thoughtful improvements. The design is notably more compact and lighter, making the earbuds comfortable to wear for extended periods. They also offer improved stability during movement thanks to the new twist-to-adjust stabilizer wings.

The earbuds are also built to be more durable. Google equipped them with IP54 dust and water resistance, a meaningful step up from the original model. The charging case provides additional water protection and features a built-in speaker, allowing you to ring the case using the Find My Device network if it goes missing.

Inside, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are powered by the Tensor A1 chipset. This processor enables more effective noise cancellation and clearer voice calls, supported by several AI-based optimizations. Overall, the audio is noticeably more refined, offering a crisper sound profile with a well-balanced emphasis on bass.

Despite their smaller size, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 offer improved battery life. The earbuds provide up to 8 hours of listening time on a single charge, and the case extends the total battery life to 30 hours, even with advanced audio features enabled.
